Online vizsg\u00e1latom sor\u00e1n a szegedi mint\u00e1n (N=254) a vizsg\u00e1lt telep\u00fcl\u00e9sr\u00e9szeket a Telep\u00fcl\u00e9sk\u00e9pi Arculati K\u00e9zik\u00f6nyv telep\u00fcl\u00e9sk\u00e9pi szempontb\u00f3l elt\u00e9r\u0151 jelleg\u0171 ter\u00fcletei alapj\u00e1n hat\u00e1roltam le \u00e9s hasonl\u00edtottam \u00f6ssze. A t\u00f6rt\u00e9neti ter\u00fcleteken \u00e9l\u0151k topol\u00f3giai identit\u00e1sa szignifik\u00e1nsan alacsonyabb volt a lak\u00f3telepek, lak\u00f3parkok \u00e9s alacsony intenzit\u00e1s\u00fa ter\u00fcletek lakosaihoz k\u00e9pest. A helyk\u00f6t\u0151d\u00e9s tekintet\u00e9ben nem mutatkozott k\u00fcl\u00f6nbs\u00e9g. Az urbanofil \u00e9s urbanof\u00f3b attit\u0171ddel rendelkez\u0151k sz\u00e1mar\u00e1ny\u00e1ban sem mutatkozott jelent\u0151s k\u00fcl\u00f6nbs\u00e9g az egyes telep\u00fcl\u00e9sr\u00e9szeken. Az urbanofil attit\u0171d az extroverz\u00edv szem\u00e9lyis\u00e9gvon\u00e1ssal szignifik\u00e1ns kapcsolatban \u00e1llt, a topol\u00f3giai identit\u00e1ssal azonban nem f\u00fcgg\u00f6tt \u00f6ssze. A t\u0151sgy\u00f6keres szegedi lakosok topol\u00f3giai identit\u00e1sa szignifik\u00e1nsan magasabb a betelep\u00fcltek\u00e9n\u00e9l, m\u00edg helyk\u00f6t\u0151d\u00e9s tekintet\u00e9ben nincs k\u00fcl\u00f6nbs\u00e9g. A n\u0151k helyk\u00f6t\u0151d\u00e9se \u00e9s topol\u00f3giai identit\u00e1sa szignifik\u00e1nsan er\u0151sebb, mint a f\u00e9rfiak\u00e9. Az \u00e9letkor a helyk\u00f6t\u0151d\u00e9ssel gyenge, a topol\u00f3giai identit\u00e1ssal k\u00f6zepesen er\u0151s egy\u00fctt j\u00e1r\u00e1st mutatott a vizsg\u00e1lat eredm\u00e9nyei szerint.<\/p>\n

English abstract<\/h3>\n

Investigating Place Attachment and Topological Identity in Areas with Different Aspects of Urban Image in Szeged<\/strong><\/p>\n

In my research I investigated place attachment and topological identity of residents living in the city of Szeged. I created the Hungarian version of the Topological Identity Scale (F\u00e9lonneau, 2004) and a scale for assessing city attachment (Hernandez et al., 2007). According to the exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses they proved to be valid questionnaires with different factor structure from the original ones but with good fit indicators and reliability statistics. Participants (N=255) were living in various districts of the city. Districts were chosen from the Szeged Urban Image Guide so that they represented different urban characters. According to results people living in the historical part of the city had weaker topological identity than those living in the residential complexes, residential communities, and in low intensity areas. Regarding place attachment there were no differences. There were also no evidence for differences in urbanophile and urbanophobe attitudes among those living in various parts of the city. The urbanophile attitude correlated significantly with extroversive personality feature but did not relate to topological identity. Extroversion in women showed connection with topological identity at a statistical tendency level. The topological identity of natives was significantly higher compared to the settlers coming from other places but concerning place attachment there were no differences. Women\u2019s topological identity and place attachment were significantly higher than that of men. Age showed weak correlation with place attachment but was moderately strong with topological identity, according to present results.<\/p>\n
