Nem volt azonban ez \u00edgy Magyarorsz\u00e1gon a 19. sz\u00e1zad v\u00e9g\u00e9n, \u00e9s azt k\u00f6vet\u0151en. Jelen tanulm\u00e1ny az 1867-es Kiegyez\u00e9s \u00e9s az 1989-es rendszerv\u00e1ltoz\u00e1s k\u00f6z\u00f6tti hossz\u00fa \u00e9s komplex t\u00f6rt\u00e9nelmi id\u0151szakot tekinti \u00e1t a pszichol\u00f3gia-oktat\u00e1s\u00e1nak alakul\u00e1sa szempontj\u00e1b\u00f3l, az \u00e1llamilag szab\u00e1lyozott \u00e1ltal\u00e1nos gimn\u00e1ziumokban. Bemutatjuk az els\u0151 k\u00f6z\u00e9piskolai t\u00f6rv\u00e9nyt \u00e9s az ahhoz tartoz\u00f3 tanterv tartalm\u00e1t, \u00e9s kit\u00e9r\u00fcnk a gimn\u00e1ziumi l\u00e9lektan-oktat\u00e1st szab\u00e1lyz\u00f3 els\u0151 dokumentumra. P\u00e9ld\u00e1kat adunk a korszak k\u00f6z\u00e9piskolai tank\u00f6nyveiben foglalt tartalmakra, f\u00f3kuszba helyezve a k\u00f6z\u00e9piskolai l\u00e9lektan-oktat\u00e1s els\u0151 k\u00f6z\u00e9piskolai programj\u00e1t. Ezt k\u00f6vet\u0151en tantervek, illetve az azokat alapoz\u00f3 p\u00e1rtdirekt\u00edv\u00e1k, valamint a L\u00e9n\u00e1rd Ferenc nev\u00e9vel f\u00e9mjelzett tank\u00f6nyvek alapj\u00e1n k\u00f6vetj\u00fck a fejlem\u00e9nyeket a kommunista hatalom\u00e1tv\u00e9tel ut\u00e1n egy \u00e9vtizeddel kezd\u0151d\u0151 \u00fajraint\u00e9zm\u00e9nyes\u00fcl\u00e9s, illetve az 1960\/1970-es \u00e9vek \u201caranykor\u00e1ban\u201d. Szemelv\u00e9nyeket adunk a tank\u00f6nyvek ideol\u00f3giai hat\u00e1sokt\u00f3l nem mentes ismeretanyag\u00e1nak tartalm\u00e1b\u00f3l, illetve arr\u00f3l, mennyiben felelt meg az oktat\u00e1s a tantervi c\u00e9loknak. Emellett az id\u0151szakban pezsg\u0151, sz\u00e9lesk\u00f6r\u0171 szakmai diskurzusb\u00f3l is felvillantunk n\u00e9h\u00e1ny mozzanatot, amelynek eredm\u00e9nyek\u00e9nt v\u00e9g\u00fcl a pszichol\u00f3gia v\u00e1laszthat\u00f3 tant\u00e1rgy lett. A tanulm\u00e1ny a fakultat\u00edv tanterv \u00e9s a hozz\u00e1 tartoz\u00f3 tank\u00f6nyv \u00e1ttekint\u00e9s\u00e9vel z\u00e1rul. This situation is significantly different from the period starting with the Austria-Hungarian Compromise in 1867, by which the dual Monarchy of Austria-Hungary came into existence, and ending with the fall of state-socialism in 1989.  In this paper we examine this long and complex period, from the point of view of psychology as a subject in state-regulated general high schools. Our analysis explores documents passed by the first Hungarian Ministry of Education, in particular, the first secondary school law and the content of the curriculum.  We discuss the first secondary school program for psychology education and provide examples of the content in the textbooks. Our surves includes the \u201cgolden age\u201d of the 1960s-1970s, the period of \u201ere-institutionalization\u201d following the virtual ban of psychology after the communist takeover in 1947. We examine the curricula and the party directives on which they rested on, as well as the textbooks published by Ferenc L\u00e9n\u00e1rd. We provide excerpts from the textbooks, often ideologically motivated, and the extent to which they met the curriculum objectives. We also give examples of the vibrant and extensive professional discourse of the period, which eventually led to psychology becoming an optional subject. The study concludes with a review of the optional curriculum and the accompanying textbook.
