In addition to the atypical nature of cognitive functioning, it also negatively affects psychological resources such as motivation, self-efficacy, and coping. These are important components of productive living, but also relevant non-cognitive components of school success. On the other side, the transfer effects of music learning,  proven in a normal population, carry potentials in many areas of life. The aim of the present exploratory study is to find out whether the transfer effects of music learning can serve as an alternative means to remedy the difficulties of students living with learning disabilities in socio-emotional areas.
