A jelen dolgozat a wac\u00f3i ostrom kr\u00edzist\u00e1rgyal\u00e1s\u00e1nak meghat\u00e1rozott dial\u00f3gusszakaszait vizsg\u00e1lja a leiratozott t\u00e1rgyal\u00e1si sz\u00f6veg alapj\u00e1n. A vizsg\u00e1lat r\u00f6viden kit\u00e9r a LIWC (Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count) szoftver \u00e1ltal v\u00e9gzett kvantitat\u00edv tartalomelemz\u00e9s eredm\u00e9nyeire az elk\u00f6vet\u0151 verb\u00e1lis jellemz\u0151ire vonatkoz\u00f3an, k\u00e9t felt\u00e9tel szerint: amikor az elk\u00f6vet\u0151 betartja az \u00edg\u00e9ret\u00e9t \u00e9s amikor megszegi azt. Azonban a vizsg\u00e1lat f\u0151 m\u00f3dszere a kvalitat\u00edv tartalomelemz\u00e9s volt, amely sor\u00e1n az ATLAS.ti szoftver ker\u00fclt haszn\u00e1latra. A kvalitat\u00edv elemz\u00e9s is kit\u00e9r az elk\u00f6vet\u0151 megnyilatkoz\u00e1sainak vizsg\u00e1lat\u00e1ra a megt\u00e9veszt\u00e9s verb\u00e1lis jellemz\u0151ivel kapcsolatban. A vizsg\u00e1lat f\u0151bb eredm\u00e9nyei arra mutattak, hogy az elk\u00f6vet\u0151 azon \u00edg\u00e9reteiben, amelyeket t\u00e9nylegesen betartott, egyes sz\u00e1m els\u0151 szem\u00e9lyben fogalmazott; ezzel szemben, amikor megszegte kor\u00e1bban tett \u00edg\u00e9ret\u00e9t, az \u00edg\u00e9retre vonatkoz\u00f3 megnyilatkoz\u00e1sai jelent\u0151sen kevesebb egyes sz\u00e1m els\u0151 szem\u00e9ly\u0171 n\u00e9vm\u00e1st \u00e9s t\u00f6bb t\u00f6ltel\u00e9ksz\u00f3t tartalmaztak, valamint bizonytalanabbak voltak. Emellett ebben a felt\u00e9telben a t\u00e9ma terel\u00e9se \u00e9s az \u00fczenetek nyomat\u00e9kos\u00edt\u00e1sa \u00e9rv\u00e9nyes\u00fclt az elk\u00f6vet\u0151 verb\u00e1lis kommunik\u00e1ci\u00f3j\u00e1ban.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English abstract<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Qualitative content analysis of the crisis negotiation of the Waco siege<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The present study analyses selected dialogue passages of the crisis negotiation that took place at the hostage event called the \u201cWaco siege\u201d, in 1993, in the United States, based on the negotiation transcript. The analysis discusses the results produced by the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) software, regarding the verbal attributes of the perpetrator according to two predetermined conditions: when he keeps his promises to the negotiator and when he breaks them.  Besides LIWC the primary method of the study was qualitative content analysis, conducted by the ATLAS.ti software. The qualitative analysis also scrutinizes the utterances of the perpetrator concerning the verbal cues of deception. According to the main results of the analysis, the perpetrator used first-person singular personal pronouns when he phrases those promises that he has kept; compared to promises that he broke. In the latter condition, analysis of the verbal attributes of his speech showed that he used more filler words, was distracted from the topic more often, his utterances were more uncertain, and stressed his messages with more emphasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
